24 Days of Grief Tips

Things to clean, the presents to buy or make, the gifts to wrap, the decorating to do, the food to prepare, the holiday to do lists seem never ending for the days leading up to the big days. No matter if you're on a grief journey or not, the holidays can be an overwhelming time for anyone. Adding a recent loss or element of grieving only makes this season more difficult and overwhelming.

As we begin gearing up for a busy time of the year with holidays, it's important to take inventory of where you are for yourself, whether you're grieving or not. Meaning, what things are stressful to you right now? What can you do for yourself to make this time of year a bit easier or more comfortable?

Over the next 24 days, we'll dive into a new tip each day to get us through the challenges and ups and downs of the upcoming season, one day at a time. These 24 days of grief tips can allow us to check in with ourselves and lead ourselves down a more stable path in a time of chaos, unknowns, and uncertainties.  Day by day, as we uncover more tips, the light can slowly shine in during an otherwise dark time.

Especially if you are on a journey through grief and healing, there has never been a better time to start getting in tune with yourself, discovering your resources, and making small steps to a more comfortable reality.


Wherever you are, however you're feeling, whatever you're grieving, your grief is not forgotten here.
